Chau Doc is home to the sacred Sam Mountain. Little temples and cemeteries abound throughout the path to the top [a journey in itself]. A reward at the top [besides the glorious view of both Vietnam and Cambodia] is a delicious veggetarian pho ["a soup that built the Nation"] and some hammocks. A special kind of bliss.
